General Policy
MakeICT and its members are available for hire to run classes and workshops, as outlined in the fee structure below. As MakeICT is a non-profit charitable organization fees can be negotiated in some circumstances, as determined by how well the project aligns with MakeICT's mission, the interest and the availability of MakeICT members. MakeICT members are free to make themselves available for hire outside of the MakeICT organization as they wish and with any fee structure they wish. Fee structure does not include the cost of materials.
Fee Structure

| $100 | project | Every External MakeICT project is subject to a $100 base charge covering MakeICT's participation as an organization. |
| $40 | per hour per instructor | Instruction/Facilitation at the event. |
| $40 | per hour per instructor | Curriculum Preparation. This will typically be about 50% of the instruction time for workshops we are repeating or up to 200% of the instruction time for first-time workshops |
| $40 | per hour per instructor | Material Preparation. This hourly rate will cover the cost of purchasing, gathering and assembling materials |
Instructors keep 100% of the per-hour charges. MakeICT keeps 100% of the $100 base charge. Minimum charge for an event is the $100 base fee plus 2 instructor hours.
