This eclipse will take place in 2023 in the US, unlike the 2017 or 2024 Total Eclipses, this will be an annular eclipse, where due to the moon's distance from the Earth relative to the Earth to Sun, the Moon will not cover the whole disk. As such, you won't be able to see the corona, but it will look like a ring.

It's a very impressive thing, but not as impressive as a total eclipse. As the Sun's disk is not fully covered, solar filters need to be worn the WHOLE time, there's no totality, where you can safely view it.

So far it's a bit early to plan.
