On May 1st, we will have a volunteer meeting where we will assign jobs to all who are willing. We would like to play to your strengths, so if you want a certain job, we hope to align you with whatever you like to do.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
On the morning of May 18th, at 11:00 AM, we will have a brief before-event meeting to make sure everyone knows what they need to do and to cover any last minute issues that may arise. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

The needed jobs and descriptions are as follows:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
*Greeters: You will guide people from the entrance and hallway to Rooms 3 and 4 to see the other vendors available, the vendors outside, to the end of the hallway for a tour, or to the bathroom. Whatever they need for directions, these should be the most common questions you should have to answer!&lt;br /&gt;
*Parking: Guiding people into a spot to help with space preservation.&lt;br /&gt;
*Tours: We need knowledgeable members to alternate with each other for giving tours. One Tour Guide will sit at the end of the hallway and “collect” people, chit chat with them and get their interests, the other Tour Guide will be on a tour with their group, and then they will switch once one tour is over.&lt;br /&gt;
*Floaters: You will need to be flexible to cover wherever you are needed, and/or to be able to follow the tours in the back to keep an eye on anyone who may wander away or answer questions if asked.&lt;br /&gt;

The Makerspace Area Leads are appointed by the MakeICT board of directors each year. They are each responsible for some specific square footage of the makerspace. The Makerspace Area Leads are appointed by the MakeICT board of directors each year. They are each responsible for some specific square footage of the makerspace. Area Leads appoint their own area lead assistants. All of the area leads meet monthly to discuss makerspace issues and ideas.&lt;br /&gt;

The Events Committee is responsible for the planning, setup, and managing of events relevant to MakeICT within the building and some outside of the building. We are made up of one Lead, multiple event-specific coordinators, and other contributing members. If you would like to be part of our committee, feel free to attend any of our meetings found on the calendar.&lt;br /&gt;

If something involves the rental of a Classroom, we would coordinate with the Classroom Committee and decide between our two committees which would primarily handle a certain event.
