MakeICT Garden Committee Meeting 3/27/2022 minutes

Committee cleaned in area, spread mulch, and re-erected fallen Arch Donated by Riverside Community Garden last year.

Set work goals for Sunday Aril 4^th

·        Solarize fence-line

·        Erect Vining Tunnels

·        Bring and plant flowers (members are encouraged to bring non-invasive flowering plants for the courtyard, plan areas to plant them, and get digging!

·        General cleaning.

Resolved to seek Area classification at next board meeting

·        Does not dissolve committee

·        Committee to guide area rules, oversee communal planting, make other major decisions

·        Area lead to take role of committee chair, will be empowered to administrate community garden.

·        Sean Sandefur to take first Area Lead position.

Resolved to either get James to get his radiator piping or turn it into a sculptural entrance arch ASAP.

Resolved to Party every Maker Monday

Resolved to attend Neighborhood Association Meeting May 12^th 2022 6:30-8

Discussed Plot and Bed Rental:

·        Opening April 18^th

·        Extend planting deadline for rented plots/beds

·        Extend rental deadline to May 15 for beds, eliminate rental deadline for plots
