city guidelines from Dale Miller for the city of Wichita
LFLs must be small--the size of a bird house or dog house. Definitely not a repurposed telephone booth. The city would prefer that the architecture match the architecture of the home/business where it is being installed so that it doesn't look out of place. Libraries must be installed out of the city's right of way, which is approximately the yard-side of the sidewalk.
Larger libraries must apply for an administrative adjustment and pay appropriate fees.
