3D Printer Peer Certification

- There are some people who will want to take the Intro to 3D Printing Class to get a full understanding of the design and use of a 3D printer. These classes are presented to teach many people at a time.
- It will be necessary to complete your training in the use of the 3D printer with a 1 on 1 overview of the UltiMaker II and MatterControl Delta 3D printers.
- How does each 3D printer work
- Proper use and control of each 3D printer
- Discussion of the software that creates the files and how the files are access on the 3D printer
- What is expected of each user of the 3D printer
- How to change filaments
- How to troubleshoot problems and report problems that cannot be resolved
- One of the memebers who is trained in the use of the 3D printer and certified will do a peer certification to validate all of the above using a 3D printer certification form.
- The form will be signed and dated by the member who just got certified
- The form will be signed and dated by the 3D certified member
- The form will be retained by MakeICT
- The new certified member will be entered on the FabLab 3D approved user section on the Wiki
- It is the responsibilty of all certified 3D printer users to review any published information at the 3D printer area
- It is the responsibilty of all certified 3D printer users to update their certification if there are any changes that require any new forms to be signed
- Failure to comply with the 3D printer certification rules could have there certification revolked
