Etsy is a marketplace for handmade goods. If you make something and would like to sell it online, a 20 cent listing fee gets your item included in Etsy's marketplace for four months, making it one of the more affordable and popular places to post your items. It's a good place to test out the demand for a bit of art you make. Vintage goods and craft supplies are also featured along with handmade. Etsy considers "handmade" to include anything you the artist made OR designed - in other words artists can sell prints of their work, clothing designers can hire seamstresses to help with production, etc.
