  1. Get a broom and dustpan from the janitorial closet
  2. Move furniture out of the way as needed
  3. Sweep
  4. Empty dustpan into trash can as needed
  5. Move furniture back to its original configuration
  6. Take trash out if near full
  7. Put broom and dustpan back in the janitorial closet
