The Embroidery & Sewing Machines is a special sewing machine that allows you to load and run an embroidery file.

There is no authorization required to use the SE-350.

Embroidery File

  • The file format required for running this machine is Deco, Brother, Babylock (*.PES).
  • A Brother SA309 4MB Rewritable Embroidery Memory Card is required to transfer the file.
  • There is a USB card writer which can be used on a PC along with PED-Basic to write the file to the memory card. The box should be located on the shelf behind the machine.

PED-Basic

To use the card writer, you will need to install a copy of PED-Basic on your machine. The version of the software that is included in the box does not work on Windows 7 or later, so you will need to download a copy from Brother. You can find a valid version from Brother Support

Frameless

  • After Starting the software, navigate to the directory where your PED files are using button #1.
  • Select the image you want to copy by clicking on it in the left hand frame then clicking button #2.
  • Click button #3 to write the file to the memory card. Note there will be a warning telling you that you will overwrite anything on the card. This is fine.
