General Notes
In-ground plots tilled over - looks great Broken glass found - possibly a rain gauge or thermometer Discussed coming up with planting schedule and renting plots Thad stopped by to donate some wood to use as a trellis Discussed struggles with vineweed There is a lot of it, and it will be an uphill battle to remove it from the garden Team brought chicken and burgers to grill
Budget Plan:
$150 - Seeds and starts $200 - Decorative and pollinator starts $200 - Organic fertilizer and pest contro $300 - New bed soil $150 - signage $75 - Nice exterior trash can $300 - Hoop house repairs/improvements
Wishlist:
$800-1500 (**Later secured $1650 for hydrants**) The water spigot is not functional. It has continually been a weak point in garden operations. It would be ideal to install frost proof hydrants. A friend of Aaron’s might be willing to do this for free. $800 - Materials to construct green houses. The garden obtained a great deal of glass with which to make greenhouses, but additional materials will be needed to make that plan a reality. We would plan to do this work as the regular growing season is coming to an end.
