Activities

These are activities we have been a part of in the past, or plan to be a part of in the future.

• Maker Faire
  • Generally held at Exploration Place annually
  • Was last held in 2019
  • Currently planned to be held again on August 26th 2023.

• Cardboard Regatta
  • Generally held the weekend after memorial day in August
  • Was last held at Santa Fe lake in 2022

• Maker Market
  • Generally held on site at MakeICT either indoor, or a combination of indoor and outdoor depending on the weather
  • Vendors are responsible for reporting taxes on income
  • Experience has shown that it is best for the host of the event to coordinate any expenses or vendor fees with the treasurer
  • Contracts for vendors must be approved prior to the event by the board

• Halloween Party
  • Generally held on site at MakeICT either indoor, or a combination of indoor and outdoor depending on the weather
  • This is a chance for makers to come out and get their Halloween Maker Spirit going!
  • Pumpkin carving contest was held in 2021 and 2022 (Katie Conrad won both times)
