Sherry updated the committee on the grant application written for the Whole Kids Foundation.  The grant is for $3,000 to be awarded in August.  Its purpose is for supporting educating kids 5-18 years on edible gardening.  Sherry has planned a weekly program for 10-15 kids from Allen Elementary to spend time in the garden and do a few lessons/projects from the 4-H horticulture books, possibly with a small microgreen kit for them to take home.

The largest of the tomatoes were repotted into larger pots and a second shelf with a light was installed to provide adequate space in the boiler room. Some of the Allium spp. were transplanted outside. There are bok choy under a cold frame Jesse built.

Rayna and Bee provided updates on the seedlings they have growing at home.

Plot rentals are open for returning Garden members; see or email/message Sherry for signup details.

The next meeting is Sunday March 19 at 10 AM.
