In this class students will make a pillow using a pattern. You will learn proper cutting techniques, pattern markings, how to mark seam allowance on their machine, top stitching, how to install a centered zipper, how to use tracing wheel and paper, and machine applique with a satin stitch.
Basic understanding of sewing machine operation required.
Supplies 2/3 yard print fabric preferably woven quilt weight 1/3 yard solid fabric letter, pocket, handle preferably woven quilt weight 18" regular zipper Thread regular sewing thread for seams, installing zipper, top stitching pocket, and stitching around letter
