Mission Statement

The purpose of this committee is to create and foster an environment for the Visual Arts mediums at MakeICT, including but not limited to:

  • Painting
    • Acrylic, watercolor, oil, etc.
  • Drawing
  • Calligraphy
  • Charcoal / Pastels
  • Polymer clay
    • Sculpting
    • Jewelry
  • Resin
    • UV and low-fume epoxy
  • Stained Glass
  • Papercraft
    • Paper maché
    • Scrapbooking
  • Lithograph / Etching / Stamping
  • General crafts


Goals

  1. Become a formal committee at MakeICT
  2. Receive allocation space for the collection and storage of materials to facilitate classes and member use.
  3. Begin classes in the varied fields of Visual Arts.
  4. Work toward establishing a Visual Arts Area.

Other Info

Pro9000 MarkII Printer There is no print driver for Windows 11 for this printer. However, the Windows 10 driver will work as long as you manually update the driver. The following are steps to follow.
Note you MUST have Admin privileges to install the driver.

  • Connect the printer and make sure it shows up in the printer list. Should show as missing driver.
  • Go to Cannon Support
  • Select Windows for the OS and Windows 10 (x64) for the Version
  • Scroll down and click on the Download for Pro9000 Mark II series XPS Printer Driver Ver. 5.75 (Windows) (xp68-win-pro9000mkii-5_75-ej.exe)
  • Must manually extract using 7zip
  • Go to Device Manager and find the printer. It will most likely be under Software Devices
  • Open Properties and click on Update Driver
  • Browse to the folder where you extracted the driver.
