Learn to Solder

Learning to solder is a extremely useful skill for a maker to gain. But even on it's own it can be a rewarding and profitable endeavor. Often I find myself just wanting to relax, so I pick up one of my electronics kits, and put it together. MakeICT offers a basic learn to solder class where we take students who have never seen a soldering iron before, through the steps and motions of putting together a simple kit successfully. The kits may vary from class to class, but the experience is always the same. Students learn the basic motions and zen of soldering a successful kit.
