    • A Community Garden
      • Already has a lot of people interested
    • A Graffiti Park
      • May not go over well with neighbors
    • A Commercial Kitchen
      • Logan Pagunnin has offered the use of his kitchen
      • Could be a big liability

  • Next big event will be a Maker Garage Sale
    • WIll need to get a lot more stuff from Makers
    • Will have to advertise the garage sale
    • The sale will help cover the cost of the move
    • Acceptable to sell something made by a maker
      • Would use as a draw a larger crowd for the sale
    • Waiting for zoning to progress before we have the sale
    • This is not a rummage sale

General Q&A

  • Can we get more e-mails sent out (despite risk of spam)?
    • David - Yes, the goal is to get a good newsletter at least once a month.
  • None of the committees have formally been recognized, how do we solidify them?
    • We’ll have to work thru this, some decisions may just have to be made without everyone.
    • If the groups are recognized, that gives them a foot to move forward with.
    • Groups like Mod Committee, Planning Committee.
      • Need a spokesperson for each group.
      • Formalized meeting times for committees may help.
        • Zoning/Building Committee have been recognized.
      • Mod and Planning are ready to move forward, but need direction.
      • Communication has not been great, needs to be improved.
  • Could we call other groups for donations of materials and possibly time?
    • Have contacted Lowe’s and Homedepot for carts
  • Could the zoning mess up the garage sale?
    • No, the zoning will not impact the sale.
  • Have the major companies around Wichita been contacted about helping?
    • Yes, we are working with one right now. Please send these kinds of contacts to Daivd Springs. Also looking at possibly having companies subsidize memberships.
  • Have we worked with Habitat For Humanity?
    • Yes, we have been there and worked with them several times.
